In 2022, the GIIN report "Sizing the impact investing market" estimates the size of the global impact investing market at USD 1.164 trillion, exceeding the symbolic USD 1 trillion mark for the first time in history.
Impact finance is booming, and in the face of the ecological and social emergency, it nevertheless requires a new approach to investment and financing. Can it become the long-awaited catalyst for the fair and sustainable transformation of the economy?
Join us for an exclusive roundtable on the presentation of the work on impact finance carried out by a group from the Paris marketplace, under the aegis of the Institute for Sustainable Finance (formerly Finance For Tomorrow) on (i) a common definition of impact finance, (ii) an impact charter for investors, and (iii) a tool for assessing the impact potential of funds. The presentation of these tools will initiate a discussion between French and Quebec actors on the conditions for the development of impact finance and the challenges to be met for our two financial centers.
